Beauty of Nature

What is Preservation?
Preservation is the act of preserving or keeping something (like the environment) in its original or its state right now.

I know what you are thinking. "Why are you telling this to me? I already know that preserving, nature and plants are all important.", but how important are they. Are plants just food, is nature just a good backdrop or is the surroundings around you just something that could be replaced. To tell you the short part of it, no, its not. Think of a time you were in a tree, on the grass, playing in the back yard , or really anytime you had encounters with your surroundings. Now strip that all away. What are you left with? Nothing.

This might seem like a meaningless scenario, but what if I told you this is becoming a reality. Slowly, the world is becoming more desolate, over tilling soil to making it become dirt and dust, overcutting trees making less oxygen, ozone layer depleting due to greenhouse gasses, over pollution from over manufacturing food and gas, and the list could go on for days.

What can you do to preserve all of this and to help the environment? Start an Herbarium! Start volunteering at nature preserves, your local trails, and botanical gardens! Anything helps!
