BioSphere

Heyo World,

Although the story is not so secretive, and I have learned in my Environmental Science class, I did find the whole story of Biosphere 2 an interesting failure but an amazing learning experience all around. First off, the whole biosphere 1 being the Earth, is genius to represent with the name biosphere 2. They simulated the different climates and living conditions of the whole world in one biosphere and had a crew of all your friends from hitch hiking, what could go wrong? Well, apparently everything, because not even 2 years and this whole program was turning out to be a scam, both with money and experience. The whole world started to go to ruins, as the aging started to get too fast for the people to keep up, the world started to go haywire. The slowly dying out plants caused there to be lower O2 levels and then the rise of CO2 got worse as their world became their nightmare. Thi caused the crewmates to become unhappy with each other, they started to eat less and had no sense of what they were doing with the lack of O2. Then the whole plan backfired on their face as capitalism started to grow into their face.

Was this a sound idea or was this just doomed to fail from the start? This is the question I was asking myself while I was watching the movie and when I was reading about it in my textbook. Before it sounded like it was human error that caused the problems but this could also be just the world itself causing itself to go into ruins. There is no other research helping this fact because instead of learning from our mistakes there is a Biosphere 3 in Ossis, but there are no results from it. This could mean the project was a fluke or it is still in progress. There is no telling what happened because there is no other documentation than one website I found while diving into the internet.

Here are some blueprints of the Biosphere 3 but it is very barren as you can tell. This installation on the website only show different inflatable things but nothing about the actual building.
